Though we're saying goodbye to a year at the end of this month, we say many goodbye's every day! This is a spirited way to end a class or school day, say goodbye to a friend or family member, or put down a favorite toy or stuffed animal. Put your best "attitude" and rhythm with it – it's spoken so there's no melody to learn. And have fun. Mess with it. Happy New Year! Mwaahhh!

Lyrics:

Wave high, wave low
'Cause it's time, for us to go
Wave your fingers, wave your toes
Wave your bottom, wave your nose
Wave like that, wave like this
Wave your hand, blow a kiss,
Mwaahhh!
Movements:

It's pretty self explanatory, but I'll tell you what I do:
Line 1: Wave your hand above your head, wave down by the floor
Line 2: Clap after the words "time" and "go"
Line 3: Shake your hands, wiggle your feet
Line 4: Wiggle your bottom, scrunch your nose, or wiggle it with your pointer finger
Line 5: Wave to the side with your left hand, to the side with your right hand
Line 6: Wave in front to others around you, then blow a big dramatic kiss!

Age Range: 3– 8 years old

Purpose: Have fun saying goodbye!
