Echo singing takes practice! This delightful song/chant is an easy way to start. If you are by yourself with the child(ren), then you'll have to be your own echo at first to model what they are to do. If you have another adult or older child, instruct them to lead the echo – and the younger children will catch on quickly.
The cadence is that old Marine marching chant – you probably will say "oh yeah, THAT one!" when you hear it. Have fun – remember to model the movements! How much fun it can be to end your time together with a wiggle, wave and smile!

Age Range: 2 1/2 – 6 years old
Purpose: Put closure on a music session or day with a musical activity, practice call/response singing, group movement activity, feel good by singing together!
