This is the I LOVE YOU month – and it's never too late to sing about that! I know Valentines Day may have come and gone, but very young children don't necessarily understand holidays until after they've experienced them! This is also a wonderful song for Mother's Day – or any day! Try signing the key words. Doing movements with the song increases retention, enjoyment, and stimulates brain and body to work together.
There's a little wheel a-turning in my heart

sign the words wheel (turn hands in front of body, like "Wheels on the Bus"), song (left arm extended away from body toward front, make sweeping motion with right hand as if playing a harp) and love (cross hands over heart, fists closed). On the last line of each verse, start hands clasped to chest, "In my..." moving arms out and away from body for "heart", repeat for second "In my heart."
